چکیده
Noni contains alkaloids, flavonoids, tripertinoid, protein, lime, iron, carotene, glycosides antarkiron. The content of anthraquinin, scaloptin, flavonoid and adaptogen compounds are active that have antifungal antimicrobial effects. antibiotics commonly used such as tetracycline, clindamycin others. These chemical-based antibacterials many negative side effects, therefore other alternatives needed antibacterials, one which is by using noni. This study aims to analyze bioautography determine the antibacterial activity noni leaf ethanol extract against Propionibacterium acnes bacteria. This research was conducted experimentally with concentrations 30%, 40%, 50% independent variables bioautographic analysis dependent variables. performed TLC test paper discs. The results testing a concentration 30% had an inhibition zone 8.36 mm medium category, 40% 10.3 strong category 11.1 in category. positive control tetracycline 30µg 20.8 categorized very strong. contact mobile phase chloroform: n-hexane (7:3). obtained at Rf value 0.17, characteristics chromatogram spots were carried out spraying 10% FeCl3 suspected compounds.

Evaluation of the Wound-healing Activity of Ethanolic Extract of Morinda citrifolia L. Leaf
Morinda citrifolia L. (noni) is one of the most important traditional Polynesian medicinal plants. The primary indigenous use of this plant appears to be of the leaves, as a topical treatment for wound healing. The ethanol extract of noni leaves (150 mg kg(-1) day(-1)) was used to evaluate the wound-healing activity on rats, using excision and dead space wound models. Animals were randomly divi...
متن کاملInhibitory effect of morinda citrifolia L. On lipoprotein lipase activity.
Efficacy of Morinda citrifolia L. leaf (MLE) and fruit extracts (MFE) in inhibiting lipoprotein lipase (LPL) was determined in vitro. The result of the study showed that the highest inhibition on the LPL activity was exhibited by MLE (66%+/- 2.1%), which is significantly higher than that demonstrated by MFE (54.5%+/- 2.5%), green tea extract (GTE) (54.5%+/- 2.6%), and catechin (43.6%+/- 6.1%). ...
